Since I have started using the Android device(s) as e-readers I have had many people ask me about the different softwares that I use. By far, my favorite reader is the Aldiko reader (See previous posts). One flaw that I have found with the Aldiko reader is that it will only allow for import of ePub formatted books. In my opinion this is very minor, given the usefulness of the tool.
So, how to convert other files over to ePub format (Not including encrypted or protected files) files to an ePub format? The too that I have found that works quite well is Calibre.
Once you have downloaded the Calibre tool, simply install it, import the books (drag-and-drop works well) into the tool and select your conversion options and format then begin conversion.
I have noticed that some documents will not be perfect, but hey, it's free!
